the greenhouse effect
The greenhouse effect is defined as the phenomenon in which the Earth's atmosphere becomes thick with gases and substances which trap the sun's radiation, making Earth warmer.
human activities
Human activities are the main cause of the greenhouse effect, which is speeding up global warming and climate change. The Earth’s temperature is rising because people are burning more fossil fuels, cutting down more forests, and using more land for residential and commercial purposes.
higher carbon emissions
Higher carbon emissions and increased carbon concentration in the atmosphere has increased the Earth’s temperature. In a recent publication by Intergovernmental Panel of Climate Change, it was indicated that the largest growth in the carbon emissions has come from electricity generation, transport, industry and above all, from building operation.

Up to one million plant and animal species globally could soon go extinct according to a new United Nations report—unless we act to prevent it. In the last 100 years, many of Earth’s wildlife species have alarmingly declined due to increased and rapid changes to their habitats and ecosystems. We’re working to grow wildlife populations by transforming the way we approach wildlife conservation.

Human demands on land and water continue to increase, the supply however is alarmingly decreasing. Imagine life without clean water and fertile land, there is none. We need to protect our land, conserve our rivers, seas and oceans. With the support of governments, corporations, local authorities and you, we can protect and conserve, together we can make a difference.
