Running with Passion. Running for Hope. Running for New Life.

Confronting addiction and homelessness through Activity Inspired Rehabilitation, The AIR Foundation uses distance running to coach members of local recovery programs into a life of stability and sobriety. Every year, AIR trains participating runners through multiple races of various distances, culminating in two marathons; one in the Spring and one in the Fall. Every race we run takes us closer to achieving the ultimate goal. Completing a Marathon is one finish line we cross on our journey to recovery.

Through these exclusive and varied opportunities, participants benefit by:

  • Cultivating healthy relationships with members of the community through a large network of volunteer supporters and sponsors;
  • Learning the means to accomplish long-term goals through incremental progress;
  • Engaging in healthy competition and team-building;
  • Participating in an encouraging and positive community;
  • Strengthening their self-confidence, enabling them to face personal challenges; and
  • Developing self-discipline to overcome challenges to their new, sober lifestyle.

Support The AIR Foundation in its mission of helping those who are helping themselves to a new life.
